Hut - Davis
Rebecca Jeanette Hut and Luke Addison Davis met when both were students at Vanderbilt University. The couple dated for eight years before Luke popped the question in the garden of Rebecca’s family home. Rabbi Richard Chapin and Cantor Ellen Gersh of the Greenwich Reform Synagogue officiated at a ceremony on Nantucket on the lawn of the White Elephant overlooking the harbor. A reception followed.
Rebecca, daughter of Susan and Peter Hut of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School as well as Vanderbilt University. She is the senior director of communications and special projects at the Children’s Health Fund in New York.
Luke, son of Deborah and Dr. Mellar Davis of Shaker Heights, Ohio, graduated from Columbus Academy and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a business analyst at Bernstein Global Wealth Management in New York. |
