Greenwich High School class of 1997 graduates Megan Ford Griffis and Timothy Michael Kelly were reintroduced by mutual friends after graduating from college. The Reverend Avery C. Manchester married the couple at the North Stamford Congregational Church, and a reception followed at the Greenwich Country Club.
The bride, daughter of Charles and Pat Ford Griffis of Greenwich and Bermuda, graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Open Water swimmer and triathlon competitor is an account supervisor at Colangelo in Darien.
The groom, the son of Frank Kelly of Greenwich and Sandra Kelly of Effort, Pennsylvania, graduated from Iona College with a degree in criminal justice. He is a Greenwich police officer. Timothy is the fourth generation of the Kelly family to have lived in Greenwich and can trace the family roots back to the Ferris family, who were original settlers in town.
The Stamford newlyweds honeymooned in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands.
