Samantha Charlotte Barnes, daughter of Nancy and V. Lee Barnes of Greenwich, married Gustavus Adolphus Henry Christensen, son of Connie and Henry Christensen III of Brooklyn, New York, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. The Reverend Robert M. Alves of St. Barnabas and the Reverend Joel Ives of the Church of Our Savior in Brookline, Massachusetts, officiated.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s family.The bride is a graduate of Greenwich Country Day School and Yale University, where she was captain of the women’s lacrosse team. She received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is the U.S. business director for Veuve Clicquot.
The groom, known as Gus, also graduated from Yale University and received a master’s in business administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a vice president for mergers and acquisitions at Evercore Partners in New York.
Following a honeymoon in Africa, the couple reside in New York.
