The Stanwich School & Pat Young
Pat Young and I co-founded The Stanwich School. I am writing to thank you for your recent article about Pat and the school. When we started the school, it was our desire to create a superior, co-ed, k-12 school with a top notch curriculum and a serious emphasis on values. To deliver on that promise, Pat held values meetings with all the students at the beginning of each day. She still does this three times per week. At the time, this was unique in town. It was gratifying to read in your article that our mission seems to be taking hold.
