Our MastheadMission Statement Greenwich Magazine aims to be a publication of general interest with a focus on this town of 61,000; to inform its readers of the wide variety of events and activities, including features on interesting people and their accomplishments, shops and services, and a calendar of significant coming events. Its mission is to present topics with superior graphics and journalism and to address issues of importance to the town in its editorial page.
A Brief History
The magazine evolved from the original publication, the Greenwich Social Review, founded in 1947. Its name was changed to the Greenwich Review and became Greenwich Magazine following its purchase by the present owner, Moffly Publications, Inc., in 1987 and the subsequent acquisition and merger with another town magazine, the Nutmegger.
Since then, Greenwich Magazine has grown more than fourfold in circulation and advertising pages, and has won awards for design and editorial excellence.
