Smooch a Pooch
Meet Golden Retriever puppies at Saks Fifth Avenue for a good cause
You bring the smooches and we'll bring the pooches!
Valentine’s Day hugs and kisses will come early to Greenwich as Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities’ (ECAD) newest litter of puppies make their debut in grand style at Saks Fifth Avenue on Saturday, February 9. The event is part of Saks Fifth Avenue’s Saks Loves Your Cause initiative taking place during the month of February.
Guests of all ages will have an opportunity to have their photos taken with an eight week old Golden Retriever darling. All photos will be encased in a card size frame. ECAD volunteers will be on hand to put the four participating puppies into eager hands and to see that the puppies get their proper naptime.
Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5% of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card back to charity. Customers may select between the local chapter of the American Red Cross, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich and ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities. Registration is one simple step at point of sale linking the customer account with their chosen charity.
Guests will also enjoy special Valentine’s Day shopping services, with champagne, treats and more.
ECAD is a not -for -profit organization that educates and places Service Dogs with people with disabilities, whether they are Veterans, children with Autism, or people of any age who have degenerative disabilities.
The puppies will be available for “smooching” from 1:00PM until 4:00PM. The booth will be located on the main level.
