Spring break is coming and if you don’t have every minute of every day packed, you just may be faced with the dreaded “I’m bored.” There are only so many visits to Darlene’s you can make, trips to Tod’s Point you can take or strolls down the Avenue you can enjoy. Here, five last minute camps that will help you keep your kids busy (and you sane).
If your child is all about layups and three-pointers, you need to check out this basketball experience. Joe Jackson’s basketball camp offers kids a chance to channel their inner-Jordan in a fun environment that fosters respect, self-confidence and skills.
When: April 9-13; 9 a.m. – 1p.m.

Give your budding dancer the week of a lifetime at Dance Adventure Studio in Greenwich. The studio offers one-week camps that may be purchased by the day. Founder and accomplished performer Nola Van Alstine’s philosophy combines learning dance technique with imagination and a sense of fun. Each week is centered on a theme, and children work on learning a variety of dance styles and related techniques.

The Maritime Aquarium
Let your kids spend their spring vacation exploring the watery world at the Maritime Center with this special series of activities. They can attend one day, some days or all days in the week-long-session—you decide. The program is filled with age-appropriate crafts, experiments and animal encounters related to a different daily topic.
When: April 16-20; 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily

Bring: Bag lunch and a snack (packed separately)
Cost: $85 per day, $395 per week; pre-care from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. $15 a day or $65 for the week

This is a fun nature-based drop-off program for children 3 ½ through first grade. Each day the children will enjoy a science and art activity, as well as a trail walk and time on the playground. Snack is provided. Preregistration is required. In addition to this drop off camp, Earthplace also offers a variety of story hours and workshops for parents to enjoy with the kids (daily at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. cost is included in regular admission price).

Under the Sea Vacation Camp takes your kids on exciting adventures as they explore the world under the sea. Get your children out of the house and into some fun in the sun for three hours of structured play and learning. Activities include gymnastics, cooking, science, arts, sports, games and more. No two days are the same.
When: April 16-20; 9:15-12:15 or 1:15-4:15
