Model For A Day: Molly Baxter
Photograph: Andrew Parsons
Molly Baxter is usually either rocking a high-powered suit or some sailing-appropriate clothes. For our shoot (see it in the current issue) we took her in a completely different direction. Molly came out of her shell and admitted to loving the edgy look, which was such a departure from her everyday style. Get to know her better here:
What's a typical day for you like? I commute Monday through Friday from Greenwich to my office in the Chrysler Building, which allows me time to catch up on my iPad or with friends who commute from Connecticut. My advertising sales job always brings a unique schedule whether it is brainstorming with clients on media campaigns, or entertaining clients at a Yankee Game. I love not having a typical day!
Sailing love: My husband, John and I met through our college sailing team and after work in the summer we try to go out on our powerboat for a sunset cruise as much as we can. We sail year round and are fortunate enough to travel to some amazing destinations to race. Bermuda is my favorite because that is where John proposed after finishing the Newport to Bermuda Race.
Night on the town: For dinner, we love eating at the bar at Tarry Lodge or taking our boat over to bartaco. For a casual night, we typically go with a group of friends to Mediterraneo, McDuff’s or Sundown Saloon.
