While the elegant cuisine and inventive menus are enough to make us huge fans, the catering company’s new venture shows just how versatile they really are.
Their new ten-day metabolic detox program, Vital Lean, is becoming quite the rage. Sure, it’s great for those who want to drop a few pounds before bikini season but the real draw of the program is to kick start the immune system, remove cellular toxins and restore the body’s pH balance.
The program begins with a consultation with naturopath Dr. Myriah Hinchey, the plan’s creator. Dr. Hinchey of Tao Center for Vitality, Longevity & Optimal Health personalizes the supplement regime that will accompany your ten days of freshly prepared organic meals and snacks to ensure that you get the proper amount of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. The artfully prepared food includes items such as veggie sushi with forbidden black rice, black and blue berry smoothie and no pasta veggie lasagna. (A great perk is that it can all be delivered right to your front door.)
Be forewarned, though. This is a detox program—meat, dairy and nuts are all eliminated in the first few days. But that’s a pretty small price to pay when you consider that in just ten days you’ll feel healthier, lighter and dare we say, younger!
