Jump I.T (MySportsClub)

Who doesn’t love something that brings you back to the good ol’ days? Jump I.T is a unique workout that integrates nostalgia-inducing jump rope with a full body workout. The jump roping keep your heart rate up, but it makes your workout fly by.

Yin Yoga (Kaia Yoga)

Yin Yoga, unlike traditional, faster vinyasa yoga, incorporates slower-paced stretching and reaches the oft-neglected deep connective tissues of the body. It is a very therapeutic genre of yoga that feels great if you’ve been busting away on machines and are in need of a breather.

V-Bar (MySportsClub)

V-Bar, a new class at MySportsClub, uses a unique ballet-based training regimen to improve your body’s core strength and balance. By getting you to move you in atypical planes of motion not usually accessed, this class will help with flexibility, movement and posture.

Inside Out (Equinox)

This popular cardio/dance class produces a rare but amazing combination: a workout that is both fun and calorie-killing. Encompassing a mish-mash of different fitness techniques such as core work, pilates and yoga, the class works to create a more toned and youthful-looking body. It will be sure to tighten up your problem areas and ward away dreaded cellulite.

Whipped (Equinox)

If you’ve caught the cross-fit training fever, you’ll want to check this class out. The workout, which whips you into shape through good-old-fashioned hard work, uses cross-fit training equipment such as kettle balls, body bars and strength ropes. You’ll come out feeling awesome, if not a little like Rocky.

Fight Club Circuit (Sportsplex)

Bored of the treadmill? This high-intensity, aerobic class, which models the popular movie Fight Club, is sure to be no ordinary, monotonous workout experience. The class teaches basic fighting techniques and aims to burn a ton of calories.

Boxing With a Kick (YMCA)

Boxing isn't just for the rugged, giant professionals. It’s a great all-around workout that not only gets you sweating (a lot), but sharpens your spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination. The trainers of the class are very motivational, inspiring you to rev up your intensity, but also sensitive to the different intermediacies of the class.
