Oktoberfest

Greenwich United Way

Becci Freshwater, Judith Perdue, Alyse Hawkins

The Greenwich United Way held its fifth annual Oktoberfest at the Loading Dock in Stamford. Three hundred guests enjoyed traditional Bavarian cuisine, regional beers, live music and plenty of dancing (to burn off all the beer). The Oktoberfest committee was cochaired by Sharon Dionnis and Rhiannon Forlini and the Biergarten décor was provided by Carolyn Dempsey Designs. United Way president Stuart Adelberg thanked supporters and sponsors whose contributions have put a firm foundation under the 2014 fundraising campaign. This year the United Way will celebrate eighty years of serving the citizens of Greenwich and some of our neediest neighbors. unitedway-greenwich.org
