There were zero flight delays at the American Red Cross annual Red & White Ball in the NetJets Hangar at Westchester Airport. With over 500 guests in attendance, the room raised more than $800,000 dollars. Over thirty area designers created the tablescapes encompassing this year’s theme, “Help Today, Hope for Tomorrow.” Noted interior designer Thom Filicia was the honorary tabletop design chair. “I feel it’s vital in the fast-paced world we live in today to take a moment and give back to those in need as well as give thanks to those, like the American Red Cross, who make it their mission to provide support and relief to those struggling in the face of disaster,” said Filicia.

Proceeds from the Red & White Ball provide immediate humanitarian aid, food, shelter, financial assistance, temporary housing, mental health support and emergency supplies to those in need. ctredcross.org
