Mission Not Impossible

photographs by Sarah Bellerive

The Special Olympics Connecticut branch held an event that was not for the faint at heart. Appropriately called Over the Edge, the event sent sixty participants rappelling twenty-two stories off the Infinity Building, which is the newest building in the Harbor Point development in Stamford. Each brave soul had to raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel and many exceeded this goal. More then $100,000 dollars was raised for the Special Olympics Connecticut, which provides year-round athletic training and competition for over 13,000 athletes and partners in the state of Connecticut. soct.org
