Lester's Moves to Larger Location

The 15 minute drive to Rye Brook is worth it!

Getting moms and kids to agree when it comes to clothing is no easy task. But for more than 65 years, Lester’s, has been bridging the gap between mom’s need for quality and their children’s desire for the coolest contemporary brands. With four locations (a Brooklyn flagship, Manhattan, Long Island, and Rye), Lester’s is always humming with fresh, on-trend apparel, footwear and accessories for mini-fashionistas and their equally style-conscious mothers.

On May 31st, Lester’s of Rye relocated from their Post Road shop to a state-of-the-art 11,000 square foot retail space in the prestigious Rye Ridge Shopping Center. The move allowed Lester’s to expand their offerings to include a wider selection of brands and add infant and toddler apparel to the mix. “We’re always looking to provide the best service and selection for our customers,” said Perry Schorr, President of the family-owned and operated retail stores, “We chose Rye Ridge Center because it’s a gathering place for the community. There’s great food, other great boutiques, and the additional space allowed us to expand and offer an even better selection and a more convenient shopping experience for our customer.”

Schorr attributes Lester’s success in the turbulent teen market to a keen understanding of their core customer. "We curate our selection to the needs of our customer. We’re able to cherry pick the entire market to bring the trendiest, most sought after brands,” Shorr explained.

While the selection of apparel, footwear, and accessories from covetable brands like L.A. Made, Under Armour, So Niki, UGG Austrailia, Chaser, and Feel the Peace appeals to the younger set, Leonard’s seasoned customer service staff provides the warm, friendly shopping experience that parents have come to expect. “Our sales associates take the time to get to know our customers — then we find exactly what our customer wants,” said Shorr.

A stress-free shopping trip that leaves even the littlest trendsetters smiling? Lester’s in the Rye Ridge Shopping Center is a 15 minute drive that’s definitely worth taking.
