Signed, Sealed, Delivered

An early winter storm could not prevent the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation from bringing together more than 1,000 supporters for its Fall Gala at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. The fifteenth annual benefit raised $2.1 million to support MMRF efforts to develop treatment for multiple myeloma, an incurable blood cancer, and a cure.

Music legend Stevie Wonder received the MMRF’s Spirit of Hope Award in recognition of his humanitarian efforts. Grammy Award winning artists Michael McDonald and Darius Rucker along with winner of NBC’s The Voice Javier Colón performed in a tribute concert to Stevie Wonder. Deborah Norville, Emmy Award–winning broadcast journalist, New York Times best-selling author and member of the MMRF honorary board of directors, served as emcee for the ninth year. Dennis Gillings, chairman and CEO of Quintiles, received the MMRF Corporate Leadership Award.
