The Dance Collective’s 4th Annual Charity Dance Showcase to Benefit Pink Aid.
On Saturday, May 31st The Dance Collective will hold its 4th Annual Charity Dance Showcase at The Quick Center, Fairfield University. Featuring a variety of dance numbers including a special student duet with studio co-owner Enrique Alarcon, the event will hold a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Pink Aid, a grant-based organization founded by Andrew Mitchell-Namdar. Pink Aid funds the efforts of charities that provide support to uninsured and underinsured women battling breast cancer. These organizations offer a range of invaluable services, from transportation to treatment to recovery garments, from babysitting to medical navigation, and so much more. Pink Aid enables the charities that provide these services to work together, making a real difference in the lives of countless women and their families in and around our community. The silent auction will be open from 1:00pm – 2:15pm on May 31st preceding the showcase, and will include an exciting array of items from numerous local businesses.
The Dance Collective offers a wide range of classes for tots through adults, and beginner through advanced students including: Latin Rhythms, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Broadway, Ballet, and more. They also offer pilates and M.E.L.T. classes to compliment their dance program.
