YWCA Greenwich and Junior League of Greenwich will co-sponsor a showing of Telling Amy’s Story…hosted by Mariska Hargitay of NBC’s Law and Order; Special Victims Unit and narrated by Detective Dierdri Fishel, a court-recognized expert on domestic violence.

A documentary that describes the time line of a domestic violence homicide. By examining the experience of Amy Homan-McGee through interviews with her parents, co-workers, law enforcement and court personnel, viewers can learn to identify, understand and help combat domestic violence.

Telling Amy’s Story has the power to educate, heal, empower and – most important – save lives. The film was produced by Penn State Broadcasting and funded by the Verizon Foundation.
