The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Fall Gala is the largest and most prominent fundraising event in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. This premier fundraising event is attended by more than 1,300 people, including many celebrities and the nation’s most prominent business executives and high-impact philanthropists.
The 2013 MMRF Fall Gala will be held on November 9, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The MMRF will be honoring Motown founder Berry Gordy at the gala with the MMRF Spirit of Hope Award, presented annually to individuals who inspire hope with their perseverance in overcoming personal obstacles. Receiving the MMRF Courage and Commitment Award, Charles Goldstuck is the President and Chief Executive Officer of TouchTunes Interactive Networks. Motown’s Grammy Award-winning recording artist NE-YO will be the featured artist performing a tribute concert celebrating Berry Gordy along with additional surprise performers.
The event will also feature an extraordinary live and silent auction. Bidding will be available to those not in attendance via an online auction website. Past auction items have included: an invitation to the exclusive Grammy Awards, a luxury vacation in Anguilla, backstage passes to a Justin Bieber concert, a premier suite for a Yankees game, VIP tickets to the Today Show Summer Concert Series, a guitar autographed by Paul Simon, and more.
