Lecture: Kim Kashkashian | New York

Feb 23, 2014
03:00 PM

Grammy® Award-Winning Violist

We know what you may have thought you read, but the name is Kashkashian. Even major news outlets miss-identified her when she took home the Grammy® for Best Classical Instrumental Solo earlier this year. Unlike that other Kim, this fellow Armenian doesn’t spend her time shopping for shoes. She spends it on the road, performing as string soloist with blue-chip symphonies throughout the world. With an extensive and eclectic viola repertoire, and accolade upon accolade for her performances, this is a Kim whose name you’ll be hearing long after that other Kim has been forgotten.
