Author Marilynn Halas Presents Her Young Adult Novel, Play On | Fairfield, CT

Mar 15, 2014
12:00 PM

On Saturday, March 15th from 12:00pm-3:00pm, author and founder of 4 Sunflowers Media, Marilynn Halas will be on hand to greet customers and sign copies of her young adult novel, Play On—perfect for ages 12 and up, at the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore. With twists and turns in every chapter, Play On promises to keep readers guessing and reading until they uncover the mysteries perpetuated by a second hand guitar that channels the ghost of its previous owner whenever it’s played.

When Dillon, a teenager from New York City, picks up a guitar in Tennessee, little does he know that his life is about to change dramatically. To start, cryptic notes start popping out of the guitar case. Then when Dillon begins playing the guitar it channels a dead soldier, who may or may not be a friend. The race is on to discover the truth. As the past collides with the present and family secrets begin to unravel, Dillon realizes he has no choice but to play on.

Copies of Play On will be available for purchase at the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore event. For more events visit www.fairfield.edu/bookstore or www.facebook.com/FairfieldUBookstore.

The event is free and open to the public!
