\n Join us for a Sunday Soiree with Bob &\; Dave\, on Sun day May 19\, 2013 and Sunday June 9\, 2013 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Everyone is welcome!
\n\n Bob and Dave joined musical forces back in 2008 after playing together occasionally for a few years. \; \; Bob&rsquo\;s musical background spans 40 years of playing a wide variety of both acous tic and electric guitar styles and singing both lead and harmony for a num ber of New Jersey based bands. \; Dave has been playing the fiddle for the past 40 years\, mandolin for about 15 years\, and sings lead vocals.< /p>\n
\n Both Bob and Dave have played in a variety of different band en sembles over the years playing everything from Acoustic Rock\, Bluegrass\, Swing\, Standards\, Country\, Western Swing\, Bossa Nova\, from the 1930& rsquo\;s to the present day. \; Their sweet spot is music from the era they grew up in\, especially well known standards from the 50&rsquo\;s\, 60&rsquo\;s and 70&rsquo\;s. \; They&rsquo\;ve developed their own sty le employing unique arrangements and a personal touch to each song. \;
\n\n The music they play appeals to a wide range of ages and musica l preferences\, orchestrated with Bob on Guitar\, Dave on Fiddle and Mando lin\, complete with lead vocals and harmonies. \; \;Their music i s enjoyed at area festivals\, events\, nursing homes and private parties. Bob and Dave both of Fairfield will also be playing at the 2013 Fairfield Dogwood Festival and the 2013 Fairfield Half Marathon.
