\n\n We are thr illed to be kicking off our fall season with Konigsberg’s painterly landsc apes. Please join us for the opening and wine reception to welcome the ar tist and celebrate this new body of work. We will publish a catalogue in conjunction with this solo exhibition.

\n\n “In Konigs berg’s work\, the viewer becomes cognizant of a duality between the lush p ainterly surface and the mysterious narrative of the composition. His sur faces are modulated between open\, scumbled brushwork and bottomless\, vel vety blacks. The paintings are visually rewarding and viscerally pleasura ble. The drama of the subject matter\, whether it is nature\, fantastical airships or scenes from domestic life\, is rich with implied history\, fo lly\, fragility and the illusiveness of the everyday.”
