DESCRIPTION:<p>\n	<strong>Over the Edge</strong> to support Special Olympic
 s is coming to Stamford on Wednesday\, August 29th. This event will give b
 rave souls with big hearts the chance to rappel down one of Stamford’s tal
 lest buildings - the new Infinity building at Harbor Point – for the thril
 l of it and to support Special Olympics athletes. Harbor Point’s Infinity 
 is located at 201 Commons Park South\, Stamford. Special Olympics is seeki
 ng participants to volunteer to rappel. To register and find out more\, go

 xt. 270 or email sarahb@soct.org. Spectators are welcome.</p>\n<p>\n	The e
 vent will kick-off at 9 a.m. and run throughout the day. Pre-registration 
 is required\, and will give participants the opportunity to create a perso
 nal fundraising page so that their friends\, family members and colleagues
  can “sponsor” them easily and securely. The event also offers the opportu
 nity to <strong>Toss Your Boss</strong>. Co-workers can join forces to rai
 se funds and send their boss over the side of the prominent building that 
 day. A good-hearted\, willing boss is required. No experience is necessary
 . An introductory class will be held on the day of the event. It’s safe\, 
 exciting and for a good cause.</p>\n<p>\n	The minimum donation to go Over 
 the Edge or Toss Your Boss is $1\,000. Participants will receive a t-shirt
  and photo of themselves in action. Sponsorship opportunities are also ava

 wareness about Special Olympics and inspire acceptance and inclusion for p
 eople of all abilities\, as well as to raise funds for its year-round prog
 rams. Throughout the year\, Special Olympics athletes demonstrate courage 
 on the playing field as they train and compete in sports\, strive to achie
 ve personal goals and realize their potential. For one day in Stamford\, i
 ndividuals will\, themselves\, demonstrate courage and go to new heights t
 o support these athletes by participating in <strong>Over the Edge</strong
 >.</p>\n<p>\n	The host site\, Harbor Point\, is Stamford’s newest mixed-us
 e development that includes residential\, business and retail properties a
 nd four marinas. It’s Infinity building\, 22-stories high\, will provide t
 he ultimate venue for this first-time event in Stamford.  For more informa
